If you are a Bmail user, you have unlimited space available for you to store files in on Google Drive. It is always a good idea for you to backup files on your system. If you wish to do so, you have the option of uploading files with Google Backup and Sync or copying them to Drive Google Drive for Desktop in order to back them up. We recommend Backup and Sync for student personal computers and Drive Google Drive for Desktop for Bucknell owned computers. Read more about Backup and Sync here. For more information about Google Drive and what it can do, take a look here.
You can also back up by using an external hard drive, or any number of cloud backup services, including iCloud for macs. iCloud for macs is only recommended only for personal computers with personal data. Bucknell data should not be stored on iCloud (see our Data Classification Policy here).
