If you have a docking station that connects your laptop to your monitor(s) and peripherals, you may sometimes discover that it isn't working properly. This frequently occurs after a power or network disruption.
You may experience that your external monitor or access to the network/internet is not functional. Restarting your laptop or monitor will not resolve the problem.
If the docking station is not behaving properly, pull the power cord out of the back left corner of the docking station. Wait 30 seconds. Plug the power cord back in.
Note: If unplugging the docking station is not successful, next unplug the power cord from the Isobar or wall outlet. Wait 30 seconds. Plug the power cord back into the Isobar or wall outlet.
The power button (front right corner of the docking station) can be used to turn the power to the laptop on or off. The power button will not help if the docking station isn't working.
