How do I install or update the FollowMe (UniFLOW) printer drivers on my Bucknell-owned Mac?

Due to security policies, Bucknell-owned machines will need to have administrative rights prior to following the instructions below. Find Privileges in programs and select Request Privileges and enter your computer password.

 

Update FollowMe printer drivers

Unfortunately, this is not done automatically and requires your action if you are printing directly to the FollowMe printer queue. (If you are using the webprint service, you do not need to install any drivers.) This article will guide you through the process of updating your FollowMe printer drivers on a Mac.

  1. Click on the Finder icon in the Dock.

  2. At the top of your screen, click Go, and then click Applications.

  3. Double-click on the Self Service application.

  4. Sign into Self Service with your Bucknell username and password
  5. Search for Uniflow and install the Uniflow Smart Client

  6. When it has successfully installed, you can now print directly to the Follow-Me printer queue using the printer named BU Followme Print
