What is Bucknell Virtual Workspace?
Bucknell Virtual Workspace is a way for students to access a lab computer remotely from a personal computer on or off-campus.
NOTE: TO USE THESE INSTRUCTIONS, YOU MUST EITHER:

Be on campus and connected to bucknell.edu wireless or a wired Ethernet connection OR
-
Be connected to Bucknell’s CiscoAnyconnect VPN; if you need more details about this, see the Ask article here: https://bucknell.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/40/LIT/KB/ArticleDet?ID=300
Connecting to a Windows Lab Computer from Windows:

Open a web browser and navigate to https://keyserver.bucknell.edu:8443/home/Main

Click on a room to view a list of the available computers

Click on the name of a computer to view the software installed on that machine

Click Connect on the computer that you wish to connect to. This will download a file to your machine, which will be used to create the connection.

Once the file has downloaded, open the file.

Click Connect on the security warning that appears.

In the Credentials window, Click More Choices, then select Use a Different Account

Enter: BUCKNELL\*your username* in the User name field
-
Enter your Bucknell password in the password field, then click OK
-
Click Yes on the security warning that appears.

When finished using the computer, remember to log off by clicking Start. Then click the Bucknell Logo and select Sign out
Connecting to a Windows Lab Computer from macOS:

Make sure that Microsoft Remote Desktop is installed; if it’s not, search for it in the built-in App Store, in the Apple menu

Open a web browser and navigate to https://keyserver.bucknell.edu:8443/home/Main

Click on a room to view a list of the available computers

Click on the name of a computer to view the software installed on that machine

Click Connect on the computer that you wish to connect to. This will download a file to your machine, which will be used to create the connection.

Once the file has downloaded, open the file.

Enter: BUCKNELL\*your username* in the User name field

Enter your Bucknell password in the password field, then click OK

Click Continue when warned about the root certification verification failure
-
When finished using the computer, remember to log off by clicking Start. Then click the Bucknell Logo and select Sign out
Connecting to a macOS Lab Computer from macOS:

Open a web browser and navigate to https://keyserver.bucknell.edu:8443/home/Main

Click on a room to view a list of the available computers

Click on the name of a computer to view the software installed on that machine
-
Click Connect on the computer that you wish to connect to.

A window will pop up asking if you wish to open Screen Sharing. Click the Open Screen Sharing button.

You will be prompted for your username and password; enter them and hit the Sign In Button.

You will see the login screen in front of you, as if you were in front of the screen. Enter your username and password again and log in.

When finished using the computer, remember to log off by clicking the Apple icon menu and selecting Sign Out.
