Bucknell University Remote Labs FAQ

Inactivity Timeout: A user's session will be automatically disconnected after 10 hours (600 minutes) if it has been inactive for that long. Any unsaved work will be lost.

Saving Work: All users should always save work to their Netspace (U: Drive) during their session. Folders, such as Desktop or My Documents, are virtual and NOT your personal computer and files saved to those locations will be deleted the session is disconnected.

What is Remote Labs?

Bucknell University Remote Labs (VMware Horizon) is a virtual computer lab.  BU Remote Labs allows you to use software without installing it on your computer. You can connect to BU Remote Labs from your personally owned Linux, Mac, or Windows computer.
