How do I use Google Appointment Schedule?

Google Calendar's new appointment schedule feature allows you to create and share your own schedule appointment booking pages so others are able to schedule time with you. Some things you are able to do with Google Appointment Schedule:

  • Create a booking page
  • Customize your availability
  • Add fields for your attendees to fill out as they book with you (name, email, etc.)
  • Set up appointment reminders
  • View your booked appointments with your daily schedule

 

How do I create an appointment schedule?

To create an appointment schedule in Google Calendar, follow these steps:

  1. Locate the nine square dots in the corner of your newly opened Chrome browser
  2. Click on the nine dots, and locate "Calendar." Click on "Calendar."
  3. Click on the "Create" button in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.
  4. When you click on "Create," it will open a small drop-down menu. Click "Appointment Schedule."
  5. This will open up your booking page to start creating and customizing your schedule.
  6. In this new menu, you will have several options
    • add a title
    • choose a duration
    • choose the day and time of the week 
    • buffer time
    • scheduling window,  among other things. 
  7. Click "Next" when you are finished customizing your schedule. This will book your appointment schedule and open the following screen to share your schedule with others. Click "Open booking page." 
  8. Your booking page will open and you will be able to see all of your appointment slots. Click "Share" in the top right hand corner on the screen.
  9. When you click on "Share," your sharing link will come open up. You can individually share a link for a specific time or you can share the whole calendar so others can select their own time. To share your booking page, click "A single booking page" and copy the link to share with others. If you have more than one booking page and want to share all of them with others, select "All appointment schedules" and copy the new link that appears.
