How do I print to the Follow-Me (UniFLOW) printers?

Students or anyone using a personal laptop should use webprint to print to the Follow-Me printers around campus. View the list of the Follow-Me Printers on campus. 

How to upload a print job 

There are several options for sending jobs to the print queue. Personal computers can use webprint and email. Bucknell-owned computers have the additional option of printing to the queue. 

​​​​Webprint

  1. Go to http://webprint.bucknell.edu.
  2. Select Continue with M365 using Bucknell Login
  3. Log in with your Bucknell username and password or select your Bucknell Microsoft 365 account if prompted.
  4. Select Start Printing from the side menu
  5. Upload your document or file by dragging and dropping or select Browse to search for files on your computer
  6. Go to a Canon Follow-Me printer on campus.
  7. Go to a Canon Follow-Me printer on campus
  8. Release a job at the printer
 

B-mail

  1. Logon to B-mail. Open a new blank email message.
  2. Enter webprint@bucknell.edu in the To: field.
  3. Attach the document or file to the email message and press send.
  4. Go to a Canon Follow-Me printer on campus
  5. Release a job at the printer
     

Bucknell-Owned Computer

While the options above (webprint and emailing) are still available, you may choose print directly to the queue by installing or updating the existing FollowMe printer driver. Drivers need to be updated from Pharos to the newer UniFLOW drivers which can be done using the Ask articles below. If the drivers are updated, you can use the File > Print option and select the FollowMe printer. Linux: Use the printers named BU_uniFLOW_BW or BU_uniFLOW_Color, which should be available on Bucknell managed Linux systems. Contact ecst@bucknell.edu with any Linux printing questions.

Release a job at the printer

There are several ways to release a print job from the printer. Once you have uploaded or emailed a document to webprint, go to the printer and select an option below to release the job. 

Bucknell ID

7. Tap your Bucknell ID on the ID scanner on the printer. For first-time users, tap your ID on the printer and enter your proxy card number when prompted. The proxy card number is the 5 digits after the "+" on the back of your BUID. If you see the copy, secure print and scan options, your ID card has been successfully recognized. 

8.  Select the Secure Print Icon on the printer screen

9. Select the job(s) or press Select All

10. For different printer options (color printing, stapling, etc.), please select Options or continue to Step 11. Note: Some options may not be available based on the printer model. 

11. Select Print + Delete or Print + Keep

Proxy ID Number

7. Select Pin Number on the printer screen

8. Enter the proxy number (5 digits after the +) on the back of your card. 

9.  Select the Secure Print Icon on the printer screen

10. Select the job(s)

11. For different printer options (color printing, stapling, etc.), please select Options or continue to Step 11. Note: Some options may not be available based on the printer model. 

12. Select Print + Delete or Print + Keep
