Inactivity Timeout: A user's session will be automatically disconnected after 10 hours (600 minutes) if it has been inactive for that long. Any unsaved work will be lost.

Saving Work: All users should always save work to their Netspace (U: Drive) during their session. Folders, such as Desktop or My Documents, are virtual and NOT your personal computer and files saved to those locations will be deleted the session is disconnected.

  1. If the client program is already installed on your computer, go to step 5. Otherwise, you'll need to first install the program so go to the VMware Horizon client download page.
  2. On the web page that you're taken to, under select the Download button.
  3. Once the download has finished, open a Terminal and change into the directory where the file was downloaded.
