How do I request admin rights on a Windows Bucknell-owned computer?

Using Make Me Admin on a Bucknell-owned Windows
computer to request temporary admin rights

Note: Follow these steps prior to installing software.

  1. Launch Make Me Admin from the search menu in Windows or from Start/All Programs

  2. When the application launches, you will select Grant Me Administrator Rights

  3. You are now an administrator for 10 minutes
  4. When installing software, you will be prompted to enter your Bucknell credentials during the installation process

Removing Admin Rights

After 10 minutes, admin rights are removed automatically.

If you want to remove your admin rights prior to the 10 minutes, open Make Me an Admin and select Remove My Administrator Rights
