If you're in Bmail and you find that you no longer have the little squiggly lines under your misspelled words, you may need to re-enable spell check in your browser. The available option is slightly different in Chrome and Firefox, but the process is the same.
1. Go to Bmail and click on the Compose button to start a new email. Right-click (Windows) or Control-click (Mac) in the body of the message. In Chrome, you'll see an option that says Spell check and when you click on it, you'll want to see a checkmark next to the words Use basic spell check. If you don't see a checkmark, click on the words to add it.
2. In Firefox, you would need to click on the three lines at the top right corner and click on Settings. On the left side of Settings, click on the Languages tab. Scroll down to Spell check and make sure the check box is checked.

3. In an email draft, you can click on the three vertical dots at the bottom of the page. In the menu, click on Spell check to have Gmail highlight misspelled words.
