What is CrowdStrike?
Falcon is the CrowdStrike platform built to stop breaches via a unified set of cloud-delivered technologies that prevent all types of attacks — including malware and much more.
How do I install CrowdStrike on my Mac?
1. Run Privileges
2. Open Self Service under Applications
3. Under Featured, select Crowdstrike Falcon Sensor

4. A popup will appear describing what you will see moving forward. Select ok to Acknowledge.

5. When you are prompted to enter credentials, enter your computer login password

6. If the installation is completed as expected, you will receive a message that says the installation process is complete. If not and you received a new pop up, move to the next section.

Why am I seeing a popup on my mac for Falcon Sensor?
While for most people the install of Crowdstrike should install without issue, if there is an issue with your computer talking to the MDM server you may receive a popup when Crowdstrike tries to install. Follow the instructions in the popup messages. See the screenshots below.
1. MDM Detected an Issue that prevents Crowdstrike Falcon Sensor from installing. Select OK to Acknowledge.

2. Update Device Enrollment. Select OK to Acknowledge.

3. Enter Credentials. Select OK to Acknowledge.

4. When you are prompted to enter credentials, enter your computer login password
5. MDM Reinstalled. Crowdstrike will now install. Select OK to Acknowledge.

6. CrowdStrike will attempt to reinstall now. You should receive a complete message when it finishes install.
