Dell Command Update is software that Library & IT technicians have installed on Bucknell owned Windows computers. Dell Command Update provides software updates for hardware on Dell desktops and laptops. This is not the same as Windows or Microsoft Update, which updates the operating system software on desktops and laptops.
NOTE: Your laptop must be plugged into power.
NOTE: Do not reboot your computer during the update process unless prompted by Command Update.
Dell Command Update will launch automatically on a regular schedule. If there are driver updates, the software will prompt you to install the updates.
When Dell Command Updates are available, you will be notified with a pop up similar to the one below.
