How much storage space do I have in my Bmail account?

Body

Bucknell faculty, staff, and students can store 150 GB in mail, documents, drive, and photos.

Note that Bucknell accounts should only be used to store Bucknell work. All personal files should be stored in personal accounts and personally owned cloud storage.

Smartphones must NOT be setup with a Bucknell accounts as the primary account. Smartphones must NOT backup files and photos to a Bucknell account. All personally owned smartphones should be configured with a personal email account. A Bucknell account should be added as an additional account. If you think your smartphone is configured with your Bucknell account as the primary account, contact the Tech Desk for a consultation.

Files for groups of people should be stored in Shared Drives, not in an account assigned to an individual user. If you are part of a team, project, research group, department, or division that has data storage needs, then that group should request a Shared Drive. Shared Drives do not count against an individual user's storage quota.

Records retention guidance is available in the Bucknell University Records Management Policy and Procedures. University records should not be stored in an individual user's storage.
