How do I install EMS on a Windows computer?

  1. Uninstall your current version of EMS by going to Control Panel, Programs and Features.
  2. Navigate to https://events.bucknell.edu/emsdesktopwebdeploy
  3. Click on the “Download and Install” link.

  4. You'll see a warning message at the bottom of your screen. You will have to select “Keep” (your browser is warning you about downloading an executable file).
    Users have to choose to Keep the executable file that they've downloaded.
     
  5. Navigate to where the files were downloaded. You need to make sure you only have one copy of EMSApplication.exe and emswebdeployconfiguration.cfg. Double-click the EMSApplication.exe file to run the installer.
  6. After installation and configuration, it should come up to the login prompt for the desktop client:
