How do I login to Code42 and restore a file?

  1. To login to Code42, open the application from the system tray on a Windows computer (near the clock), the menu bar on a Mac (the bar across the top of the screen) or by running sudo CrashPlanDesktop from the command line on Linux office computers (that have locally stored data).
  2. If prompted Sign in with your Bucknell email and Bucknell password.
    • If you have already done CAS and Duo today it may just open the browser and say "Successful log in". At this point you may go back to your Code42 app and go to step 3.

  3. If you want to restore a file, click on Restore Files.

  4. Navigate to the file or files you want to restore. Click Restore Files
    .

  5. Select the restore location. Click Go.
