What is B2B:Bison to Bison (may also be referred to as wisr, the host platform)?

B2B: Bison to Bison, is Bucknell’s admitted student network. This was developed in response to help students admitted to Bucknell’s Class of 2024 and their families connect with fellow admitted students, meet faculty and staff members, ask questions about Bucknell and prepare for the fall. 
 

Who has accounts on B2B:Bison to Bison?

  • All admitted students and their families have been invited to create a profile on B2B.

    • Over one third of admitted students have already done so! 

  • Nearly 1000 parents of admitted students are also on the platform. 

  • There are over 40 active faculty on the platform - selected by recommendation from their Deans - and over 75 staff members from various offices across campus. 

  • There are also over 50 current Bucknell students on the platform. 

  • There are over 30 current Bucknell parents on the platform identified by the Parents Board. 

  • Lastly there are around 10 alumni on the platform, identified by The Center for Alumni & Family Engagement

 

What is the difference between an admitted and an enrolled student?

An admitted student received an acceptance letter to Bucknell and was offered a spot in our class of 2024 but is still deciding where they will go to college/university. An enrolled student has paid their enrollment deposit meaning they have committed to attending Bucknell. An “enrolled student” may also be referred to as a “deposited student.” 

 

How does someone create a profile on B2B:Bison to Bison? 

  • Students admitted to the class of 2024 should go to their Application Status Page to find their unique link to create their B2B profile. 

  • Parents of admitted students should refer to an email sent from the Office of Admissions on 3/31 to find their unique link to create their profile. If they need this email to be resent they should contact admissions@bucknell.edu 

  • If current faculty, staff, students, parents, or alumni have questions about how to join B2B: Bison to Bison, they should contact Becca Haupt, in the Office of Admissions at rch032@bucknell.edu 

 

What is my B2B: Bison to Bison log-in information? 

At this time, B2B does not require single sign on credentials. When creating your account, it is best practice to use a new password that you have not previously used for other websites or your Bucknell credentials.

Please email admissions@bucknell.edu or for immediate assistance, M-F 8:30am-4:30pm EDT, please call 570-577-3000. Live event details and the associated zoom links can be found on the “events” tab of Bison to Bison. If you want to join an event happening now, you may need to click “past events” to find the event you are looking for.
